The role of Catwoman, Patience Phillips, became one of the most iconic in Halle Berry’s career.
On July 24, it marked exactly twenty years since the film “Catwoman” was released. The 57-year-old actress celebrated by posting several topless photos with two black kittens, writing:
“And still… Meow! Today marks 20 years since I had the honor of bringing this iconic character to life.
She will always be close to my heart, and I will forever remain Patience Phillips, known as Catwoman!”
In her post, Halle thanked Gi Lim, who helped rescue the kittens featured in the photoshoot. Berry recently took them in from the streets. On June 27, Berry shared: “Meet Boots and Coco! I found these two little furballs in my yard along with their brother, sister, and their mom!
I spayed the mom and released her back into the yard, and now she’s our outdoor cat. I found homes for the other two kittens, and these two have become our new pets,” Halle proudly shared. We have shared tips on what to do if you find a stray kitten. Michelle Pfeiffer was one of the first to respond to Berry’s story, leaving a comment saying “Love” and a heart emoji.
Fans were thrilled with the “hot” photoshoot, noting that Halle has hardly changed in the twenty years since “Catwoman” premiered: “Simply stunning, just like the day you played the role,” “The best Catwomen come from Ohio” (a nod to Halle’s birthplace), “I’m jealous of the cats for the first time.”
Halle Berry has been happily in a relationship with writer and performer Van Hunt for over four years, who is three and a half years younger than her. The musician and producer regularly posts photos with his beloved, and in May, he posted a nude photo of the actress, which quickly went viral on social media and in the media. Previously, Halle had been married three times, and her relationship with model Gabriel Aubry ended with the actress being ordered to pay $16,000 a month in child support – we explained why the court made this decision.
