Fans of iCarly were left heartbroken when the Paramount+ revival was canceled after just three seasons, ending on a massive cliffhanger.

However, there’s still hope for a proper conclusion, according to the show’s star, Miranda Cosgrove.

In a recent interview with Variety, Cosgrove expressed her optimism about reuniting with the cast for a wrap-up movie.

“I’m excited, and I’d love to get to wrap up the story,” she shared, adding that she’s “pretty sure” the movie will happen.

Cosgrove’s comments echo her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she told the host that “there’s a good chance” fans will get the much-anticipated wrap-up movie.

The third season finale, which unexpectedly became the series finale after Paramount+ decided not to order a fourth season, ended with several unresolved plot points.

Not only did Carly and Freddie decide to tie the knot after Mrs. Benson and Lewbert abandoned their own ceremony for a low-key Vegas elopement, but the big #Creddie wedding also saw the unexpected arrival of Carly and Spencer’s estranged mother.

iCarly, a continuation of the popular Nickelodeon series that aired from 2007 to 2012, starred Miranda Cosgrove as influencer Carly Shay, Jerry Trainor as her brother Spencer, Nathan Kress as her producer-turned-boyfriend Freddie, Laci Mosley as her roommate Harper, and Jaidyn Triplett as Freddie’s daughter Millicent.
