Filming intimate moments in movies can be pretty awkward, perhaps none more so than Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence’s kissing scene in The Hunger Games.
In fact, Hemsworth previously admitted that kissing Lawrence was ‘disgusting’ and ‘awkward’.

The actor, who are good pals, locked lips in several scenes in the popular film series.
However, this was apparently super awkward, as Hemsworth explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in 2014.
“Any time I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable,” he began.
“When you look at it on the outside it looks like a great picture. She’s one of my best friends. I love her.”

“But if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting and right before the scene she’d be like ‘I didn’t brush my teeth’.
“I’d be like ‘great, I can’t wait to get in there and taste it’.”
Lawrence has offered her side of the story on multiple occasions, opening up on the tuna-gate scandal.
In a 2014 interview with Nylon, the No Hard Feelings actor was asked about the validity of Hemsworth’s claims.
She said: “I wouldn’t say that … I would just kind of eat whatever I wanted; I think the onions that you were referring to was that I just had a sandwich with mustard and raw red onion.”

Lawrence also addressed Hemsworth’s kissing critic during her infamous appearance on First We Feast’s YouTube series Hot Ones.
She said: “It was not intentional. It was just what I was eating and then we’ve kiss.”
The actor then joked to host Sean Evans: “He should just get over it.”
While Lawrence has been involved in countless movie scenes over the years, there is one that left her traumatized.
The scene, which features in the film Mother!, is one she tries to forget.
Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017, Lawrence shared: “It was the scene where I woke up to a surprise, and ran downstairs… that was the worst feeling I’ve ever had in my life.
“It was awful, and I don’t know if I would ever do such a movie again.”

In a later interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence spoke about the backlash to the film, sharing that while she didn’t ‘regret’ making it, there was no way she’d be able to do it again.
