‘Here’s Lucy’s’ Lucie Arnaz, Who Turns 73, Looks ‘Fabulous’ with Silver Pixie Hair and Lives in a Small Town with Her Family

In family images posted online, Lucie Arnaz, whose famous parents went through a turbulent divorce, looks “fabulous” with her silver pixie cut.

Known for her role as Kim Carter in “Here’s Lucy,” the 73-year-old actress and her 44-year husband now reside in a tiny hamlet after their five children have grown up.

Many people still associate Lucille Ball with the endearing lead role she played in the hit television series “I Love Lucy,” costarring with her real-life spouse, Desi Arnaz. The pair quickly rose to prominence and became one of the most adored sitcom families worldwide.

They made time for a family and achieved remarkable success in their occupations. Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucie Arnaz, a boy and a daughter, were welcomed into the family together. Despite coming from a well-known family, Lucie now leads a much more sedate life after leaving Hollywood.

1940 saw Desi and Lucille cast together for the stage production of “Too Many Girls.” They fell in love right away. After escaping to get married in November 1940, the couple went on to co-star in “I Love Lucy” The program aired from 1951 to 1957 before becoming a spinoff.

At the time, their children were seven and nine years old. Though Luci and Desi Jr. remembered their divorce as an unpleasant and upsetting period in their life, they also mentioned that their parents continued to be close after they ended their marriage.

Even during the most trying times, Lucie acknowledged that her parents were alcoholics and that they argued frequently, but she also insisted that no one in the family had ever been abused.

She clarified, saying, “They simply realized that their marriage wasn’t working, and that was unfortunate. However, things were lot simpler for everyone after they made the decision to cease.”

After relocating to Palm Springs in search of a peaceful lifestyle, the couple was married in 1980 and had three kids: Katherine, Joseph, and Simon Luckinbill. Lucie welcomed Nicholas and Benjamin Luckinbill, Laurence’s two children from a prior marriage, with open arms.

In Palm Springs, the family resided together until the kids were old enough to go out on their own. The thing Lucie is most proud of, according to her, is her kids.

Since all of their children have gone out, Lucie and Laurence have downsized to a smaller Weston home because they are bored of caring for their larger, more ostentatious property. With three and a half bathrooms, the house is situated on slightly more than two acres.

The property’s workshop was transformed by writer Laurence into an office where he could concentrate on his work, but the main bedroom has a walk-out balcony with views of the whole backyard.

In addition, the house features three fireplaces, a media center, a fully finished basement, a wine cellar, a spa, and a swimming pool. The couple’s favorite aspect of their house, though, is that it’s situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac.

Speaking on how his wife had transformed their home after they moved in, Laurence remarked, “She has such good taste and [knows] how to decorate.”

The couple is happy to be out of the bustle of Hollywood and is enjoying a much simpler life now. They unwind in their abode, which Lucie has devotedly transformed into a haven.

How Does Lucie Arnaz Look and Live at 73?

Grandparents Lucie and Laurence, who she refers to as “Larry,” are equally proud. The devoted grandma frequently posts pictures of her grandkids on social media and expresses how much she enjoys and values spending time with them.

She shared a picture of herself with her laughing granddaughter on social media in 2020. Eliza Grace Luckinbill is the name she gave to the cute infant, describing her as a “little pink bundle of pure joy.”

Additionally, Lucie has shared photos of her and Laurence spending time with their adult children. She posted pictures of the family’s Easter celebrations on Facebook during the previous year (2023), stating that she, her husband, daughter, stepson, and grandchild had spent the day in the desert.

The actress displayed pictures of Laurence and his son in addition to pictures of her and her spouse. She said that although they were all affluent and content, her thoughts were with the less fortunate family.

Numerous admirers said that they looked “fabulous,” and the majority expressed confidence that Lucie’s parents would have been very proud of her for all that she has accomplished since their passing.

A admirer expressed that Laurence and Lucie were a “match made in heaven” and that they were fortunate to be able to spend the holidays with their kids. Once again, Lucie received praise from her fans on Instagram after sharing the same picture. “Feel good vibes radiate off you two as a couple,” exclaimed one admirer.
