However, fans of the actress were clearly unprepared for the reality, judging by their reactions.
It seems Moore’s fans were not ready to accept what a woman’s body looks like at 60. Online users seem content to be deceived by retouched images of aging celebrities. Comments include, “How was she supposed to look at 61?” and “People are so used to idealized images online that they’ve stopped perceiving reality,” and “Just a typical 61-year-old woman. What’s the issue? Did you expect her to Photoshop her photos like all our 70-year-old celebrity retirees?”
Others defended Moore, stating, “Demi is beautiful in any form,” and “Not only is she a decent woman, but she’s also very beautiful. Look how kind she is to her ex-husband.”
