Erin Andrews Says Seeing Travis Kelce Supporting Taylor Swift Was ‘Best Part’ of the Eras Tour

Erin Andrews had her “mind blown” after seeing Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour late last month in London and says seeing the singer on stage with her boyfriend Travis Kelce was “the best part” of the night.

Andrews, 46, spoke with PEOPLE at a Purina Pro Plan event in late June and became giddy when she recalled seeing Swift and Kelce, both 34, get on stage in front of a live audience together for the first time during Swift’s June 23 show at Wembley Stadium.

“The Eras Tour was phenomenal,” Andrews says. “It was everything I hoped for and more. I am sad because I know obviously she’s coming to the States in October, but those are weekends I have football, so I can’t go. I would love to try to go again. It was just incredible. She’s a beast. She’s a force. Yeah, mind blown.”

Andrews was an early advocate for Swift and Kelce to begin dating when rumors began swirling around the internet late last summer. On her podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, Andrews and her co-host Charissa Thompson tried to convince Swift the Kansas City Chiefs star would be good for her.

Kelce later thanked Andrews and Thompson on social media after a clip from the segment was widely shared online, telling the podcasters, “I owe you one.”

“Honestly, we just laugh about it because we didn’t set them up,” Andrews says. “We just advocated for a friend. We are huge Swifties and thought that they would be such a fun match. And I think it’s cool to see. Look, we all love rom-coms. We all love love. We all love the good looking football player that’s charismatic and a fun guy to be around. And then we love the amazing pop star and the fact that these two icons got together.”

Andrews, who teamed up with her dog and other celebs for Purina Pro Plan’s new Fueled By docuseries, says it’s “fun” to see them happy together now. “And I also loved seeing it up close and personal because I remember when the rumors came out that they were together,” Andrews says. “There were just so many negative people saying things about it. And I’m just so happy for them. And yeah, I thought honestly the best part of the Eras Tour was seeing him support her. I just found that so lovely.”
